ZOO'S VET TO HELP OUT

Australia Zoo needs $12,000 to be able to send its head veterinarian and his staff to tsunami-torn Banda Aceh to offer immediate humanitanian and wildlife aid.

Dr Jon Hanger will take essential aid and veterinary supplies directly to the Sumatran people and animals in danger.

The $12,000 is needed to pay for evacuation, relocation and temporary housing.
